I Heard a Rumour

I think most people accept that Kim and Kanye are a bit weird as a couple don't they? I mean Kanye was messed up on his own but the day he slipped his ring on Kim's finger was the day the weirdest couple in current pop culture was created.

Totally worth it though. Kim is now living the dream as a flawless animatronic vacantly walking the streets of the most glamorous cities in the world and recharging her robot battery via a USB port fitted to specially amended seats on fashion's front rows while Kanye's secret stays nice and safe.

What do you mean what secret?

Well..

(looks around to make sure no one is listening)

Apparently he's dating Givenchy designer Ricardo Tisci and - shock horror - the Kim/Kanye partnership is a sham to make the Kardashian's even richer and to give Kanye not only an heir but his very own Kim doll to dress up and play with when he's bored.

To be honest I'm not 100% convinced mainly because I think Ricardo is an XL top and Kanye is too insecure to bottom.

I think a bit of Chinese whispers has happened here and the truth is that Kanye is with helium heels Olivier Rousteing from Balmain.

Much more Kanye's type don't you think? So similar to Kim with the skin always on show and the pout and the lapels. Kanye must dress him too.

By the way, if anyone wants to sue me I just it to be clear that all of the above is completely made up and only potentially true.

Raey is a nice new brand

The Matches team have done well with this one. Raey menswear has just launched online and in store and is exclusive to Matches because it's their brand. yep, they designed it and made it in house. Well, Rachael Proud (formerly of Christopher Kane and numerous Topshop collabs) designed it probably either from home or her own studio and I assume they used a factory of some sort for the making part but you get me.

Here are a few of my fave pieces...

You know how sometimes in house or own brands just aren't as good as the proper brands? Not this one. It's simple and sophisticated and wearable and brill. They're my words. Matches use these words:

"Athletic influences, clean lines and luxury fabrics underpin the label’s collection of elevated essentials for the modern man."

Take a look at the full men's collection here and the women's collection (which is equally good) just here.

In Love with Dr Sebagh

I've tried a lot of skincare brands over the years but none have had such an immediate and long lasting effect on my skin as Dr Sebagh.

Dr Jean-Louis Sebagh (apparently rhymes with teabag as much as I wish it didn't) is a world leader in non surgical procedures and has an anti ageing clinic in his home town of Paris as well as my home town of London where he specialises in keeping people youthful rather than turning back the clocks completely. His signature look is more subtle than most and thats one of the reasons he's so successful - let's face it, pillow face is never a good look is it?

But his skincare range isn't just a lucrative sideline to sticking needles in Kylie's forehead. He works hard along with a team of chemists to produce amazing products that really do work.

I first discovered Dr Sebagh (available from johnlewis.com) about ten years ago when I didn't have many other financial commitments so I could afford to splurge - prices start at £25 for a cleanser and go up to £215 for a serum. You might wonder why the 23 year old me decided to use a brand so heavily associated with anti ageing. In fact, Dr Sebagh products concentrate on two areas of skincare that are really opposite to each other. As well as fighting blemishes, greasy T zones and acne (things associated with being young) the products also fight the signs of getting older namely wrinkles, age spots and complexion dullness.

Nowadays I have less budget for lotions and potions so I was super happy when somebody very generous gifted me a few bits this week. The problem is now I've been reminded how amazing the products are and I have no idea which bill to stop paying so I can afford to buy more!
